A pint of Guinness, please!
Thanks John Kelly's health blog (owner of Kelly Personal Training here in Austin), I have more reasons to drink up when I'm over there.
John posted the link, "Guinness is good for you- its official" to his blog recently and it works nicely with the timing of my trip. This article lets me know that just by sipping the wonderful Irish nectar, I can prevent heart clots and slow down the deposit of harmful cholesterol. It also will make me more funny, more attractive, more intelligent, and a wonderful singer. I admit, those last ones may only be what I personally believe after 3 pints.
That's some good news as I continue my countdown to my trip. Two days...
John's got a lot of other great articles on his blog as well as a wonderful soup recipe that I've made many times. For those of you in Austin, check out the training program at his gym- you get 2 completely free workouts so you can just try out the once-a-week, 20min workouts and there are no contracts or anything like the big gyms .
